Our family business was established in 1962 as Laxton’s Greenhouse & Garden Store by Kenneth Laxton. He primarily sold annuals and vegetable plants. As the business continued to grow, a nursery was added. In 1970, the florist shop opened.

     Over the years, Laxton’s has evolved into a full service florist, including greenhouses that grow flowering plants and vegetables, a supplier of mulch, garden products, fresh cut flowers grown on premises, and nursery stock. We also grow herbs, perennials, and offer cemetery urn service. Currently, three generations of the Laxton family are involved with the business.

     This year we are introducing our new Harvest Share Program, an exciting new concept designed to bring the freshest produce and flowers directly to our customers. We have been serving and supporting the Skaneateles community for 48 years.
